At Deerfield Risk Advisors, our process is far different from the “bidders” mindset adopted by much of the insurance brokerage industry.
Learn about our process and approach.
The process entails a comprehensive analysis of a company’s current risk profile from start to finish including things such as reviewing operations/exposures, risk transfer agreements, claims history, industry benchmarking as well as policy forms. Our long-term goal is to proactively work together to design and implement a risk management program that controls cost and can generate long term profitability. It is imperative that we determine whether current programs are producing maximum results while minimizing the cost of risk.
Learn about our coverage analysis process.
We evaluate all policy forms to help companies understand what they have and how they work. Unfortunately, many endorsements & exclusions are often overlooked during the evaluation process & can be costly if not reviewed. Understanding these coverages greatly improves insurance purchasing decisions made by businesses.
We offer claims analysis.
We collect and analyze a company’s historical claims data for all lines of coverage. With that data we provide a loss analysis to help identify trends and develop appropriate risk management responses with the goal of lowering the cost of insurance and opening the door to alternative risk transfer options. Additionally, we identify and uncover areas of risk that can be self-handled while shifting our focus to those that can be catastrophic in nature.
We offer contractual risk transfer review.
The transfer of risk through contracts is of course common and unfortunately often overlooked from a broker standpoint. Effectively managing this risk can help control your cost of insurance and potentially avoid catastrophic events caused by others falling under your insurance program. We will also review contractual agreements for appropriate assumption and transfer of risk in collaboration with your legal team.
